-Students will be working in groups of 3-5 students.
Students will be working in groups to create a page on a class Wiki Space. Each page will have to have:
1) a Power Point presentation
2) two linked articles (with 2 discussion questions)
3) summary of topic(nine sentence format),
4) map (linked)
5) pictures (linked).
Scoring: 20 points - Power Point – 6 slides (Title, Who, What, When, Where, and Why) Research worksheet will help!
5 points - Articles – Find 2 articles about the topic and link them to the groups page. (group must write 2 discussion questions for each article.
15 points- Summary – As a group a summary needs to be written and posted to the Wiki space. - Nine Sentence Format
5 points – Map – Post or link and map of the English Colonies and or Colonial Cities were the topic took place.
5 points – Pictures – Two or more pictures of the topic needs to be posted to the group page on class Wiki space.
10 points - Timeline- Create a timeline of your topic using a table on your groups wikispace page (Set up two columns, date and event, list events that happened leading up to and after your topic. Number of dates will vary with topic.)
Total Points – 60 – Students will also recieve 5 points per day for class work.
